The idea of this amaro comes from the memory of a not too distant time, from the flavors and smells that enveloped the atmosphere of the ancient domestic hearths.


Many memories are closed in the tasting:
the summer and the warm nights of full moon, the morning breeze blowing on the bushes releasing the smells of the Mediterranean scrub, the silence broken by cicadas in the heat of the day, the profile of the boats anchored in front of the cliffs, the silvery glows and the foaming of the waves, but above all the sea with its palette of colors and ... again ... the stone houses to withstand the mistral in winter.


In this succession of events, in an ancient Southern habit, my grandmother taught me at the beginning of the summer to collect spices and wild herbs to dry them in the sun in order to produce the poetry of this essence, and those moments of a free and happy child they return from afar.


Today I like to share with you those moments and the suggestion of those moments not entirely lost.
